The next big update for League of Legends: Wild Rift has now been revealed by Riot Games, featuring many new features such as the continuation of the Sentinels of Light event, the addition of the much-required Pick-Ban system, a new Wild Pass, and new champions.
Coming across the realms of Runeterra, let's take a look at the next three additions into the game's extensive roster, as a new cycle is about to come for Riot's mobile MOBA.
Akshan, the Rogue Sentinel
Following the theme of the Sentinels of Light, the Rogue Sentinel known as Akshan will make his triumphant debut in Wild Rift very soon, bringing his style and versatility into play thanks to his impressive abilities.
Akshan will arrive accompanied by a brand new exclusive skin, only available in League of Legends: Wild Rift. This skin will be revealed later on.
The debut of this explosive mid lane champion full of surprises is scheduled for the next few weeks. You can learn more about him in our full overview article about Akshan's first reveal for League.
Brand, the Burning Vengeance
Brand, the pyro master burst Mage and Support will blaze his path into the Rift, as he will be added to the game's roster in September 2021.
His abilities gain new powers when his opponents are already ablaze, delivering a full torrent of fire and destruction towards them.
So if you like poking and frustrating your enemies from a distance, Brand will be the perfect choice for you.
Nunu and Willump, the Boy and his Yeti
Last but not least, Nunu and Willump are also coming to freeze the battlefield with their powerful blizzards and strong snow abilities.
Following their powerful strategies from the main game, these two can be a fantastic duo for the jungle, as their ease of cleaning monster camps, as well as their unexpected ambushes, make them a great pick for any match.
Nunu and Willump will become available together with Brand in September 2021, meaning you will have different choices for either a nice and chill game or crazy and fiery plays.
